Nextgen PCS, LLC, (Personal Care Solutions, LLC (PCS)), a multi-disciplinary personal care product development company, is pleased to welcome Joseph Tessari as its resident intellectual property expert. In this role, Tessari will play an integral part in delivering expert guidance as we develop superior products for the personal care market.
Tessari is a seasoned patent professional with over 38 years in intellectual property law practice as both an attorney and now as a patent agent. His experience includes working in global corporations including DuPont and Tyco, small and large law firms, as well as operating his own legal practice from 2008 – 2013.
In his career as a patent attorney or agent, Joe worked with a diverse array of technical disciplines and technologies. In his most recent patent experience he provided patent searching, drafting and portfolio development and management services for Tredegar Corporation with a concentrated focus on absorbent hygiene articles including diapers, fem care products and adult incontinence products as well as the films and laminates used in such articles.
“We are fortunate to have Joe join PCS. His skill dovetails well with our team and our mission to develop healthier, more sustainable, and better performing personal care products,” says Connie Mattox, president of PCS.
Leveraging his background in IP and personal care products, Joe will help clients navigate regulatory requirements and the due diligence necessary to bring products to market.
